Robert Waxler

Robert P. Waxler received his B.A. from Brown University, M.A. from Boston College, and Ph.D. from SUNY at Stony Brook, where he wrote a dissertation on the poet and visionary artist William Blake. He is currently Professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he has also served as Chairman of the English Department, Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Dean of the Division of Continuing Education. He is Co-Founder of the Changing Lives Through Literature Program and the UMass Dartmouth Center for Jewish Culture. He has published several articles on various topics and most recently co-authored, with his wife Linda, Losing Jonathan, a book about the loss of their beloved son.
