Letter to New Participants
Submitted by Michelle Carter

Dear potential participants:

You have been referred to the Lynn District Court's Changing Lives Through Literature Program. You may know a lot about the program or you may know nothing. Some participants may be court ordered to do the program and others may do it voluntarily. Whatever the case may be, I hope you are willing to give the program your best effort.

The Changing Lives Through Literature Program will begin on [put date here]. However, I need to meet with you before that date to provide further details and to complete the necessary paperwork. I am asking all potential participants to report to Lynn Probation on [the date and time]. If you are unable to make this appointment, you need to call and reschedule the appointment. If you fail to do so, you may be terminated from the program. I can be reached at 781-598-6400. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Michelle Carter, Probation Officer
